Sorting by name
Windows XP has an annoying habit of refusing to alphabetise the items in your Start menu. Luckily, there's a way around. Open the Start menu and click Programs.Use your mouse cursor to point to any entry in the Programs menu, and click the right mouse button. From the context-sensitive menu, select Sort By Name.In the blink of an eye,Windows will alphabetically reorder the items listed.Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat the procedure after you install new programs.
